Since today BILD in Germany connects to bloggers via Twingly Blogstream. We are very proud to have one of the world’s biggest newspapers on board – BILD currently ranks here on 4th place in print worldwide. After Handelsblatt.com, BILD is the second Germany based and internationally reknown newspaper that decided to integrate Twingly Blogstream into their online strategy.
Like Handelsblatt.com, BILD are pioneers in the German language market to use our solution for linking back to bloggers in a simple, relevant and spam-free way. We hope that these two will only be the start of establishing Blogstream also in the German speaking countries. Blogstream offers a great opportunity to create a strong and exponentially growing symbiosis between bloggers and sites online. Bloggers are visible in connection with content they wrote about while the site gets increasingly more attention from bloggers and also from readers who consider the site to be their source for comprehensive information.
To start off with, BILD offers the Blogstream solution on these areas of their website:
– Unterhaltung (Entertainment)
– Sport
– Bundesliga (German Premier League)
– BILD.com English language content
Bloggers, enjoy! Write about one of the articles in the sections listed above, ping your blog to us (if you can, please use the automatic pingback option) and watch your post being displayed some time later in the Blogstream widget on the article you quoted!
Any questions, please let us know!
We hope you are as excited and curious as we are 🙂
Congratulations Twingly, good work. Hope other German news sites will follow.
A little bit sad that the critical Bildblog.de is censored by the plugin: http://www.72dpiclub.de/blog/2009/02/02/bildde-mag-twingly-nur-ohne-bildblogde/
