Top list of Channels

As we’ve been talking about before, you really want to find more Channels than the ones you know! We’re very happy that you want to spend more time with Channels, not less, so we decided to fix this right away.

As a result of your feedback, ideas and our great developers – here’s our new top list of Channels!

Today it’s really simple, just a top list with a ranking based on the number of subscribers. In the future we will make this more useful by adding more aspects to it (example: “Channels with most interactions today, this week or month”). And yes, we will make it easier to find Channels in many more ways in the future.

Another feature we’re rolling out today is a small one asking you if you want to tweet your subscription to a Channel when you subscribing. We’ll launch many features like this in the future, if you have any ideas in how to connect Channels to other services like Twitter, Facebook, Delicious or whatever service you’re using – please let us know.

New Blogstream Partners!

We’ve been so busy working with Channels lately that we haven’t blogged about our new Blogstream partners. So, here they are!

Företagande
The Swedish site foretagande.se for entrepreneurs started to use Twingly on their front page last week. We really like entrepreneurship, so we think this is brilliant!

Kyrkans Tidning
The Swedish Church have their own newspaper and since a couple of weeks ago they are using Twingly on their site. So when you’re blogging about religion or things related to the Swedish Church, you will get a link back from their site if you linking to them. Other Twingly Partners in this niche are Vårt Land (Norway) and Dagen (Sweden).

2grader
2grader.se is a campaign site about the climate debate in Copenhagen in December. The focus for the site is to give attention to the climate debate. They’re using Twingly to show and link back to the blog posts linking to them on their frontpage.

Stay tuned, there’s more partners on their way.

Find more Channels

Wow. What a great launch last week. Thanks everyone, we’re amazed by all the feedback and usage of the service. We love feedback and thanks to @jocke we’ve been starting to use Getsatisfaction.com again, so please feel free to talk with us there or simply use our feedback form. Also, we do of course have a Twinglyfied Channel where we wanna interact with you!

The most common question is “how do we find more channels?” and yes, it’s kinda hard. In the future there will be a catalogue and search for Channels but for now, the only way to find them is by testing url:s (twingly.com/channelname) or if someone is linking to it in some way. This is an active decision by us, we want Channel creators to invite people themself.

To help you find some more Channels to check out, here’s some examples that not has been featured at Twingly.com yet:
