With the constantly expanding list of European newspapers and other media outlets using Twingly to link back to blogs, Twingly has the opportunity and leverage needed to improve the everyday life of all netizens. More and more people are shifting their communication habits online to being more open to the public.
As of today all the newspapers, magazines and TV-channels using Twingly to link back to blogs also will show trackbacks to all emails containing links to their articles.
From now on it will be much easier to get attention to what you are writing in emails. If your email is well related to current news it is well worth the effort to include a link to a newspaper article touching on the same subject. Your emails will get a far wider spread among readers and new readers will find your content and might email you back if they like it.
Partnering with Twingly in this venture is the Echelon Project and the Swedish Försvarets Radioanstalt, who are delivering the feed of emails Twingly indexes to find links to newspaper articles. We want to especially thank FRA for taking the firsts steps towards making our dream of email trackbacks come true by pushing the needed legislation through government bureaucracy.
